Justin Carr has been identified as individual fatally shot during Charlotte riots

Charlotte Observer‎ – A man shot in uptown Charlotte during a protest over the fatal police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott died Thursday at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said. Police said they found Justin Carr, 26, suffering from a gunshot wound in the 100 block of East Trade Street at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police said they found Carr after responding to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon.

Carr was shot in the head, Observer news partner WBTV reported, citing a police report.
