Michael J. Fahy, FDNY Battalion Chief, Dies After Bronx House Explosion

amNY- Julio Salcedo was arrested in Cliffside Park, New Jersey, on a warrant for petty crime at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a source. He was being questioned in connection to the blast that killed Battalion Chief Michael J. Fahy, a 17-year veteran with Battalion 19 in the Bronx. Another 20 people were injured.

FDNY officials said firefighters were called to the two-story home at 304 W. 234th St. in Kingsbridge around 6:30 a.m.
